Unclaimed Credits Database
About unclaimed tuition credits
A tuition credit is a monetary amount not paid towards tuition or student fees during the student’s time at UBC. If you have not accessed your student account within three years, any tuition credit you may have will be considered “unclaimed property” under the BC Unclaimed Property Act. You have the right to request a refund of your tuition credit for a limited period of time (within 6 to 30 years, depending on the size of the credit).
If you believe you have a tuition credit but cannot find it in your student account, you may search for your name in the online UBC Unclaimed Funds Database.
About the database
The UBC Unclaimed Funds Database is an online searchable database which allows members of the public to identify whether unclaimed funds are held in their name by the University of British Columbia. There is no charge for searching and processing claims. All search queries are conducted through a secure encrypted connection while being transmitted to our website. Information provided goes securely and directly to the University of British Columbia and is not shared with any other organization.
